Summer Job Program

Description:  Designed specifically for at-risk youth in McDowell County, W.V, the summer job program provides short-term work experience and Biblical teaching for individual youth within the greater context of a summer-long youth discipleship program.  Individual youth live and work alongside of staff members for one week of the summer.  They learn through hard work, new friendships, and fun experiences that God loves them and has a plan for their lives.

Latest Happenings:  This past summer, nine local middle school and high school boys completed a one-week or two-week internship with Mustard Seeds.  They were mentored and led by a college intern during the summer.

Needs:  We need two college-age guys to come this next summer and lead the summer job program with local teenage boys.
